Two of our 16u teams played in tournaments this past weekend and both represented with fire and fight! 

16u Morris took the field in Meriden CT at Fall Fastpitch Frenzy. The team played 6 games on the weekend making it to the Championship game, but came up short. They took home second place with plenty of weekend high points including:

* Rockets Player of the Week, Haylie Miller's Grand Slam
* Payton Linsley was super consistent at the plate hitting .636
* Bailey Pino back from injury hit .545 on the weekend
* Kylie Murphy, Jackie Marks, and Haylie drove in 16 of the team's 34 runs
* Pitchers Jackie, Lily Madio, and Olivia Frick each earned a win and allowed only 6 walks over 24 innings
* "Chilly" Lilly Fortier had a strong weekend on defense with 12 put outs and zero errors. 


16 Select headed upstate to play in USA Softball's Queen of the Hill event in Albany, NY.  This was the first time this team got to take the field together and compete and they played their hearts out on Saturday with 2 wins and a tie landing them the 5 seed. Sunday morning didn't go their way losing in an ITB inning, 8-7. 

Four Rockets batted over .500 on the weekend. Kaylee Brower led the offense hitting .714 with 4 singles, 1 double, and 6 RBI.  Pitchers Arianna Arocho and Sierra Bischoff combined for 19 Strikeouts over 15 innings. 

16u Select and 16u Futures, who has had a weekend of rest, will both head to Bridgeport, CT this coming weekend to participate in the Fall Wrap Up event at Beardsley Park. 

14u Red traveled to Rhinebeck, New York to meet the Dutchess Divas and took home two wins outscoring their opponents 23 to 9. 
Tayla C had the hottest bat of the day hitting .750 with 3 singles and 2 RBI. 

12u Rockets and 14u Blue were both rained out this past weekend, but will both play Sunday, October 22nd against Velocity in Trumbull, CT.
